TRAVELING TO PHOOL CHATTI ASHRAM:

To get to Phool Chatti Ashram from Delhi:

You can arrange a taxi with our local transportation man, Happy. His Phone number is +919897014411 and email is zhakkiano@gmail.com . The cost from Delhi direct to Phool Chatti Ashram would be approximately 3000 rupees and is about 8 hours.

From New Delhi, travel to Rishikesh by bus or train (only occasional trains to Rishikesh from Delhi). Then take a taxi to Laxman Jhulla area just north of town. Cross the long footbridge and turn left to walk 100 meters to the taxi stand. The taxi will drive you 5 kilometers to Phool Chatti Ashram gate. Taxi rate is likely to be between 200-250 rupees from Laxman Jhulla to Phool Chatti Ashram (as of Nov 2009).

From Delhi, you can go by train to Haridwar (further away than Rishikesh). Then organize a taxi to Laxman Jhulla (closest) or Ram Jhulla (just a bit further), and from there, take another taxi direct to Phool Chatti Ashram.

From Rishikesh, which is a lot closer than Haridwar, you will need to cross a bridge before taking another taxi on to Phool Chatti Ashram.

Joligrant Airport

Joligrant airport is 5 kilometers from Rishikesh and approximately 25 kilometers from Phool Chatti Ashram. Air transportation from Delhi or Mumbai into Joligrand Airport is ideal, and a taxi can then be arranged from the airport to Phool Chatti Ashram. If the taxi is unfamiliar, you can just say near Laxman Jhulla and arrange a second taxi from there for approximately 200 rupees to drop you at the Ashram gate.
